How to Experience Life

Breath-taking! There I stood – with the majestic view of the Himalayas spread out before me.

I could feel the cool wind with each inhale and the icy prickle on my skin as I squinted in the sunlight. Surrounded by such a wide expanse, I found myself completely and utterly present – taking in the wonder.

There, in the space of no-mind…time stood still. I found myself completely and utterly immersed at the moment.

Does it take a peak experience like this one to remain present?

Or, might it be possible to live with this sense of wonder daily?

“It’s strange, isn’t it, how you never know you’re living the best time of your life at the moment you’re living it? If you could appreciate, at that instant, that this is it, maybe you’d make certain your mind imprinted every detail of the sights, smells, sounds and sensations.

Life on the Daily

Do you find yourself sometimes rushing to get things done?
Maybe getting stuck in analysis paralysis, giving rise to self-doubt?
Or, do your thoughts drift to the day that’s past or the day ahead?

In the hustle and bustle of the day, it’s easy to lose the sense of wonder that can only be found when living in the present.

What’s the difference between “experience” and “experiencing”? Here’s a short video on How to Experience Life.

Experiencing the Present Moment

An experience can be filed away – in a snapshot, a diary or on social media. Yet, do we ever truly live to experience the moment?
In the video, I showed you a simple way on how to get really get present in what’s happening right now.

It’s amazing that something as simple as dropping into yourself can produce so much aliveness in life!

Somehow, I feel how life flows right through me, as if life and I were one.

Life is the dancer and you are the dance.

I AM Meditation

Dropping into meditation is a great way to really experience life fully. You get to practice being the Observer instead of being part of the trials of the mind.

Through meditation, you begin to cultivate the skill to carry this state of being throughout your day.

I AM Meditations are a great way to connect to the Law of Pure Potentiality.
This law says that at our core is pure awareness. This realm of pure awareness is the place of all possibilities and underlies all creativity.
We can tap into this law by first tapping into the silence and stillness that resides within ourselves by taking time just to be.

Meditate on this simple, yet eye-opening mantra: I AM_________.

Let me know how that goes for you.

“We are the masters of each moment,”

Paramahansa Yogananda
